Friday, 28th Apirl 2005 - Thornhill Briggs 'B' Match Report

A funny game where both i felt both teams where a little nevey. We started of slow and took a few mins to get into the game but once we got it going we played well. The only time we put more the 2 passes together was when Martin scored. We shoud have scored when Danny beat his marker to a half volly but was unluky with the keeper making a good save. We played really well in the second half making it hard for the manager to make subs. All in all a good 3 points. We only need 15 more for our target with should keep us safe.

Colin Conner:  7.5 Nothing much to do but did what he had to do well.

James Machon:  7 Did not get chance to shine to tight ov 1s half.

Martin Scully:  8 Very solid, liked up very well scored a good goal.

Chris Hoey:  8 Man of the match battled hard for everything.

Wayne Porter:  7.5 Took time to get in to his game, but was very soild.

Adam Sharp:  7 Supled the ball for the winning goal, a good game.

Danny Conner:  7 Played poor, has to improve for the next game.

Jo Gibbs:  7  Did not get chance to shine but his time will come.

Martin:  I nice move from a corner kick hoey played the ball in to Sharpy who thought about shooting but faked it and layed a lovely pass of to Martin who inturn hammerd it straght past there keeper.
