Friday, 6th May 2005 - Westborough Utd Match Report

We started this game very very slow again and if we want to stay in this division we must start every game like a 6 raging bulls not like 6 little pussy cats. No individual is to blame it’s a team effort and nobody comes to lose, so lets all take a lesson from this and start every game like we ended this one and am sure we will get the 18 points we need to stay up. In the first half we was to pieces at the back and nothing went for us upfront we was all fucking shit. Not even testing their keeper but the second half was a different game we showed the Ovenden sprit that won us the league last year and must have had more than 10 shot to their 1 or 2 in fact on the second half performance we deserved to draw if not win the game.  

Player ratings:

Colin Conner:  7 Unluky to concede 2 did nothing wrong.

James Machon:  7 The most improved player last season and looked sharp in this game to.

Martin Scully:  7 Solid but was reall unluck one on of there goals lost is footing and their player got rond him and got a good shot off.

Chris Hoey:  8 What can i say again the MON played his harte out again.

Wayne Porter:  7 Good game stuck to his man well. How did ya miss?

Adam Sharp:  7 Played really wanted to score andmaybe should have passed but i cart say owt he played betta than me!

Danny Conner: 7 Did not have a good game, Every thing i did went wrong to falt for the 1st goal.

Jo Gibbs: 7  Came on and showed the rest of the team the player that i know he is.
