Friday, 04th March 2005 - Wheatley FC Match Report
A terrific 2-0 win over close rivals Wheatley (4th place). Can Ovenden hold their nerve? To win the league they have to win 3 out of their 4 matches left to secure their first title ever in their history providing Bond-It and Thornhill win every game they have left to play. Sitting pretty 5 points top of the league the real pressure is really on for the boys to keep winning.

Goals:
Hoey: A sweet goal. Hoey jumped on to a left footed shot by Machon with his ARM could have been given as hand ball!
Sharpy: Only Sharpy could have scored this one. He held the ball up after a not so perfect pass by Danny and took a glance up and fired home with the out side of his foot.
